Itchy raise red rash with bruising

I just started on ferrous gluconate and Provera and underwent allergy testing (I happen to seem to be allergic to living).  Anyhow after being on these meds for about a week I started to notice a rsh that continues to get worse.  It itches and is located on my arms anterior to my armpits on both sides.  This spot is also has underlyng pinpoint bruising.  I also have a rash on my anterior lower left shin.  It looks a lot like eczema my daugter has and is VERY itchy.  The doctor had mentioned I may have autoimmune diseases we will begin exploring on November 6th.  Is this more likely food allergens I am not aware of, drug allergies, or autoimmune?  I have severe anemia and I am concerned that I am perhaps allergic to iron.

Provera can cause allergic rash. While injectable iron does in some cases cause immediate reactions not likely to cause this type of allergy. Anaemia per se can cause itching but that would be generalized. Calamine lotion can soothe you applied externally.
