Water urticaria, or aquagenic urticaria, is a rare condition in which hives develop within 1 to 15 minutes after contact with water. The hives last for a few minutes after and do not seem to be caused by histamine release like the other physical hives. I think ur right about this, I have googled AQUAGENIC URTIURTICARIA, and my symptm are exact to others. I donot have a histry of any allergic reactions to anything. I am 39 yrs old and this just started like last 2 to 3 weeks.I stopped using the soap we have used for years and changed shampoos, still broke out so it has to be the water.
Thanks so much for you concern.
