I think ur right about this, I have googled AQUAGENIC URTIURTICARIA, and my symptm are exact to others. I donot have a histry of any allergic reactions to anything. I am 39 yrs old and this just started like last 2 to 3 weeks.I stopped using the soap we have used for years and changed shampoos, still broke out so it has to be the water.

Do you have history of allergic reaction or irritation? This could be due to the soap or even the water. Water urticaria, or aquagenic urticaria, is a rare condition in which hives develop within 1 to 15 minutes after contact with water. The hives last for a few minutes after and do not seem to be caused by histamine release like the other physical hives. This could be associated with sensitive skin or to additives in the water such as chlorine. If it persists, have this evaluated further for proper management.
