Itchy skin

I am going on 2.5 yrs. of being itchy. It is driving me crazy. I do not have lice. It's mostly my head that is itchy but so is my body. I have no hives or rashes or scaly skin. Dermatologist gave me a medicated shampoo and said it could be dermatitis. It doesn't help at all. Already went through 2 bottles of it. I am beside myself. Can I have something wrong with me internally? Can stress cause this itching? I take benedry, but it doesn't help. I have cortizone cream but doesn't help. Don't know what to do. Any answers out there???

Just go to a medicine store, and you want an antiseptic liquid drop, they'll definitely give you of different brand. :)
there's no worry for that:)

Could be dry skin, take a bath in Aveeno bath, this is oat based and very soothing to the skin.

Some other serious conditions can cause this horrible itching as well, I would ask the doctors for some more blood work.

Hi there!
If you have nothing sorts of allergy or rashes. Probably this itchyness is normal but excess could be of skin irritation to the environment.
When you bath too often, it itches too! Like 2or more times in a day.
Or it can be of water sanitation problem. Try using antiseptic liquid drop on your bath water, it'll kill the micro organisms. I suspect the water contaminations in your area.
Good luck!
