I have been diagnosed with jockJock itch itch several months ago... but it is getting worse and not better. I was wondering if there is a prescription anti-fungal cream that works well (I can call my OB and ask for it)?
He gave me a prescription (pill form) of NizoralNizoral Nizoral a-d Nizoral topical. Though I didn't really take it but a couple of days b/c I'm trying to conceive and this is a pretty dangerous drug.
So what are your recommendations for a prescription anti-fungal cream I could ask my OB to prescribe that would get rid of this jockJock itch itch?
If the skin inflammation causes discomfort and itching, glucocorticoid steroids may be combined with the anti-fungal drug to help prevent further irritation due to the patient scratching the area. '
