Jock Itch

From what I understand jock itch includes a red rash around the inner thighs and sometimes the scrodum. Can this rash sometimes spread to the pubic region just above the penis? Also, are there any distinct odors associated with jock itch?
Thank you for your time.

Hi,

'Jock itch causes itching or a burning sensation in the groin area, thigh skin folds, or anus. It may involve the inner thighs and genital areas, as well as extending back to the perineum and perianal areas.'

You could read more about the condition at the following link -

Regards.
