Thanks for the help, I'll definitely look for that, the stuff I been using is Badger healing balm. It feels like he** fire going on broken knuckles, I wouldn't mind as much if it helped. I pretty much figured this to be dry skin, but I've never had it go on for this long and so severe that my knuckles split for no reason.
The Neutrogena lotion is the "Norwegian Formula" for severely dry skin.
BTW, you will have to endure some pain when you apply any lotion but the Neutrogena, the Neutrogena has no alcohol or other substance that irritates the skin. I have actually put it on my open wounds and not suffered. You need to use it all the time until your cracking has diminished. Then apply it every time you wash your hands or you'll be right back in the same boat. You might have to apply the moisturizer and then bandage the joint until it heals itself. Goodluck.
Dude.... That is dry skin, I am a mechanic and experience that on a daily basis. I have to coat my hands in moisturizing lotion put socks on them and sleep like that and I still have fingers in particular my thumb that just split and crack on a whim. Starts to bleed and is very very very painful, I just can't fix it. The joints especially. I was worried about being called gay or a girl cause I have to use lotion even at work, but F*** em', I had to do it. The absolute best product that I have used is the Neutrogena severe blend, I don't have any left but am about to get some more, it has the little swiss cross on the package, comes in little squeeze containers and has no odor.
