Kenalog injection

Hi!  I was stung by a wasp over 7 months ago, and the bite formed a cyst.  Today the dermatologist injected the cyst with Kenalog.  It has been itching terribly since the injection!  I looked Kenalog side effects up on the internet and found that the side effects are frightening and that there are many.  It can even cause an indention at the site of the shot.  PLEASE let me know if this is widespread.  I recieved the shot on my chest.  Thanks so much!

Triamcinolone is a synthetic corticosteroid given orally, by injection, inhalation, or as a topical ointment or cream.
It is not that side effects will occur in each and every patient. Only patient who are prone to develop will develop. Itching is known to happen after injection into cyst.

Thanks so much for your response!  Thankfully the cyst has finally disappeared, and the itching I'd had is gone as well.  It was a  L O N G 7 months dealing with the results of the wasp sting, but it's great to finally have it be GONE!
