Large pimple taking a long time to go away

by Jake520, Nov 24, 2008 07:05PM
I have what i think is a pimple on my right cheek.  It is probably the largest one i've ever gotten but it is pretty far under the surface of my skin so it wasnt so noticeable until a couple days ago.  It has started to resemble a very small bruise because it is red and sort of raised. It has been there for atleast 2 weeks and its starting to bother me.  It is to far under the skin to just pop and be done with.  So i have two questions:

1. Is there anything else it might be? (not actually a pimple?)
2. If it is a pimple should i just let it work its course like all the other ones or is there something i can do to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance!

BAH! im having the same problem. *****. havent found anything yet. but i will let you know when i do. i think u have to just let it take its course. i even went to the derm today to ask if there was anything he could do immediately. short of a cortisone shot (which leaves a scar) i think time is the only answer.
