Laser treatment for Darier's Disease

I've had Darier's Disease for about 11 years, although I was just diagnosed by biopsy less than a year ago.
My doctor suggested v-beam laser treatment, although I read that Yag laser was a successful treatment for 2
case studies. I'm wondering if anyone else has had either laser treatment or treated Darier's with one of the above mentioned lasers. Also, wondering what the difference between Yag and v-beam is.
I would like to have a litte more info on the subject, if any, before I make another appointment with my doctor. He's a little hard to get an appointment with, and I don't want to make one just to ask him questions (unless i have to).

Versa pulse helps with the symptoms and only feels like a slight sunburn for a few days.  I had it done at Gateway Dermatology in Salt Lake City.  I had a very experienced practitioner - make sure you have it done in a Dr. office.
Versa pulse followed by blue light helps with the itching and flare ups. The blue light feels very nice, and is helpful to kill bacteria.  I highly recommend it.  
Erbium YAG has been used for DD- however, you do run risks of permanent scarring.
