Lichen Nitidus!
Hello Doctor,
Am a girl of 20 and i have been suffering from some kinds of patches of small papules on my hand for the last 7 months. Its really embarrassing since it seems to propagate days to days.
I'v seen a dermatologists who said that is Lichen Nitidus! and there no possible cure. But he did give a medicine. He also said that this will disappear with time. I want to know whats the maximum time it may take to disappear. Its really embarrassing and i really want to get rid of it.
Thanks in advance

AmMw, Given to choose a lichen disorder ranging from lichen planus, lichen sclerosis er atrophicus, lichen planopilaris, lichen actinicus and lichn nitidus, I would happily choose lichen nitidus. Why?For it is going to disappear soon! Only calls for a little patience from you.ok?
Best wishes.

It does take quite long but then do get reviewed. It could well be a deficiency disorder relating to vit A.
Be sure not to take high doses or long term vitA without medical advice.
Best wishes.
