Light Brown Splotches on tops of Feet

I have these strange light brown/reddish splotches all over the top of my feet and around the bottom of my ankles. I've had them for years and have never known what they are. They don't bother me but they are UGLY! I am a little over weight so I was wondering if it had anything to do with that. I've added a picture of what it looks like. Any ideas????

I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be stasis dermatitis, freckles, contact dermatitis to the shoes or lentigo. For freckles, Cryosurgery using liquid nitrogen and laser are the main treatment modalities. Although there are many skin creams like hydroquinone and salicylic acid, but their use needs prescription .I would recommend a dermatologist’s consultation for this.
