Lip Scar/bumps

Lip Scar/bumps

I scrapped my lip a while back and when it scabbed over and healed I got these little bumps over where it had scabbed. They don't hurt and they aren't red.  I am a guys so there used to be facial hair there so I was thinking it might have to do with my hair follicles.

I scrapped them off once because I was hoping it would heal again and they would go away but they came back. I'm wondering if they might not be scar tissue but rather warts or something? But they haven't spread or started anywhere else on my lips.

I'm just trying to figure out what they are and how to make them go away, because they have been there for months now.

Hello,
These bumps can be due to cysts, warts or some benign skin growths. I suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist and if possible get a biopsy skin done to confirm the diagnosis. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
