Lips irritation

Hello my name is juan and i really need some professional help. It been more than a year since i started to feel burning irritation on my lip, sometime i need to put saliva on my lip because it is dry. I want to go to the doctor but i am scared to see the results. I don't want to see that i have a std like herpes. But i see that herpes only last just up to a month i believe!. My girlfriend is coming next week from dominican republic and i don't know what to do. Immigration did some blood test to her and they allow her to come over here so i guess its nothing wrong.

It can  be due to vitamin B deficiency or due to allergic contact dermatitis. Take some vitamin B complex for some days and see if your symptoms improve. Also if the symptoms persist then please get an evaluation done from a dermatologist and discuss the second possibility with him.
