history of skin cancer (paternal grandfather), extremely dry skin in general (I only use Eucerin shower oil- no soap, eucerin lotion after showering, and carmol for keratosis pilaris). I have always had delicate skin and regularly use Oil of Olay SPF 30 sensitive skin daily moisturizer but I am still getting dry & red patches
I have very sensitive skin too. The only product that works for me is
Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer with a SPF of 15---it says on the bottle "clinically proven to visibly reduce redness, soothe irritated or sensitive skin."
It is a small bottle (4oz) and it runs about $14 at Target, but it lasts a long time and it healed my blotchy red patches plus I have not had any allergic reaction to it. Try it.

Hello,
For sensitive skin, you should wash your face with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Pat your face dry. Then apply a good hypoallergenic moisturizer like Aveeno or Cetaphil over the area and keep it well moisturized.
