Hair loss could be attributed to pattern baldness, hormonal changes, certain medications, poor nutrition, hair chemicals, and scalp infection. Infections, such as ringworm, can invade the hair and skin of the scalp, leading to hair loss. Once infections are treated, hair generally grows back. Heredity also affects the age at which one lose hair and the developmental speed, pattern and extent of baldness. If this persists, have this evaluated by your doctor for proper management. Direct examination is important in reaching a diagnosis.
Take care and keep us posted.
