Sebaceous cyst is a closed sac that fills with a fatty white material called sebum produced by sebaceous glands of the epidermis. It is usually painless but can become painful if infected. Then antibiotics are needed. If still persist then they have to be removed by excision.
A lipoma is a benign tumor composed of fatty tissue. They are soft to the touch, usually moveable, and are generally painless.Treatment is not required unless they become painful. Then they have to be excised or drained or the use of ultrasound waves to destroy the lipoma has to be employed.
I sincerely advise you to consult a dermatologist if they increase in size or is associated with pain as then biopsy or FNAC has to be done to see their cause and composition.
I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Warm regards.
