Im 15 years old and I am desprate for help!  I recently grew pimple like lumps on my head. When the lumps went away so did my hair. the hair over the lump came right off. Now i have a bald spot on my head and it is very embarrising. the lumps are also kind of pinkish coloured.  My scapl is also very dry and has accumulated a bunch of small scab like spots on my scalp. When I scratch it off, watery, oily liquid comes out. It also makes the hair into small bunches so it looks really weird. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hello Bhupinder, thank you for your reply. I don't think it is a cyst because it doesn't bulge or look like the photos I have seen of it. But is there anything i can do to prevent it from happening?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
The symptoms are suggestive of pilar cyst or a cyst. Pilar cysts manifest as smooth, mobile, asymptomatic swellings, often in the scalp. Overlying hair loss may be noted. The definitive treatment is surgical excision of the cyst. My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
