i went to the derm and he said it mullescum contagiousum.
He said to leave it and itd go away, but after more research i feel like hes an idiot. haha.
he perscribed me protopic.. isnt that bad for mollescum?!
anyways havent picked up the pescription yet and have started using apple cider viniger today.

I did see the derm.
He said it was mollescum. I called yesturday and he apologized saying he should have perscribed me adara a week ago when i was in and not protopic.. he wrote me a perscription for it. How should i use it? and is it normal that the apple cider vinagar i soaked the big lesions in has turned the spots on my skin black?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
If it is molluscum contagious then it is a viral infection and Protopic is used mainly for atopic dermatitis and not for viral infections. Molluscum contagiosum presents as multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated as treatment for molluscum is different. Treatment includes physical destruction or manual extrusion of the lesions, cryotherapy, and curettage.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
