Marks on my penis

by Glindo, Mar 25, 2007 12:00AM
The day after sex with a condom a purple line appeared on the top of my glans about 1 cm in length. It looks like a bruise but this was 9 days ago and it is still there. It is painless and not raised from the skin. It is about 1cm below  the meatus.

Also a freckle like discolouration has appeared in the last couple of days on the shaft of my penis a few mm in diameter. It is totally flat and painless. I don't have any other freckles on my penis so I thought this was unusual.

I've looked to see if they are symptoms of STDs but I can't find anything similar.

Does this sound like anything serious?

No.  It sounds friction and trauma related.  My advice is to ignore it for now, and to show it to a doctor if it persists for a month.

Best.
