Melanoma

My wife had a melanoma removed from her breast last July. I just discovered a new melanoma on her back today. She also has a swolen glan in her arm pit. We are on vacation in Spain and she is freaking out wanting to go home. We have arranged a appointment for her this coming Monday to see a dr back home. Should we leave now to go see dr in emergency. Or is it ok to wait till Monday.

Your wife should be okay, but when it comes to lumps in the armpit you should always check with a doctor, and never try to diagnose yourself.

The melanoma isn't going anywhere, and it's not going to get worse within a few days.
Did she have vaccinations before leaving? This could be the cause.

Call your doctor if:

Your lymph nodes do not get smaller after several weeks or continue to get larger.
They are red and tender.
They feel hard, irregular, or fixed in place.
You have fever, night sweats, or unexplained weight loss.

No vaccinations. She has had the swollen glands in her armpit for 4 months now. She had an ultrasound done at the beginning but it said normal then but it gets worse around her cycle n tender but then subsides a little  back down after. Just hoping there is no correlation. I'm not sure how serious early stage melanoma is when it has comeback a second time in a different area 8 months later. Thanks so much for ur feedback.
