Nothing can be siad with surety without having a look at the lesions. It would best to get a clinical examination to find out the cause of the leg lesions.

If it is granuloma annulare, then methotrexate would not help. You would need steroid medications, cryotherapy or isotretinoin or phototherapy with oral psoralen and UV-A (PUVA).
