Micropigmentation to cover up birthmark?

I have a fairly large cafe au lait spot on my left side that stretches across my rib cage. I was searching for ways to get the birthmark removed, and the only results I've gotten so far is laser removal. It is very expensive to get a birthmark removed from laser treatment and can take a long amount of time (from what I've seen it takes many treatments to get rid of the birthmark.)

I recently discovered micropigmentation and was wondering if it would work for me? Would it look natural? Is there a chance the birthmark will re-appear? I have no doctor, so I have no clue about these types of things and need some help please.

P.S. When I went to the closest place that does laser treatment they said it would be $650 per treatment, is that an average price or is it too high?
