Mild irritation on shaft of penis

Hi how are you? I had an unprotected sexual episode with a 46 year old woman 3 1/2 weeks ago. She assured me for weeks that she is not only std free but I was the 4th person she has ever been with. About a week after we had sex I masturbated 3 times in about 4 hours one day. The following day I noticed some skin irritation on 2 spots on my shaft. No discharge, fever, aches, bumps, rashes, no irritation when urinating or anything else. About 6-8 times a day I look at it, rub the area a little to see if it is still irritated. Sometimes I feel little irritation sometimes I don't.

Sometimes I'm sitting at my desk and feel it and then run to check it out. Am I touching it to much? Could this be herpes? This has been going on for about 10 days now. Could this be anxiety mixed with me touching it to much? The skin is not red and the area is smooth, just irritated.

It sounds like irritation, not herpes.

Masturbating 3 times in 4 hours can certainly cause irritation.  Examining it repeatedly to see if it's irritated is a bit like waking someone up to ask if they're still awake.

I suggest you leave the spot alone, apply some moisture lotion, and forget about it.
