Mild redness glans penis

I have some slight redness at the end of my penis. It started several weeks ago and was itchy and very dry. I was told it was eczema and tried some steroid cream. The itchiness and dryness improved quickly. I now have no pain, itchiness, or flaky skin. It seems like it is still a bit red but I'm not sure if I'm just looking at at too much. As I thought it was still red, I have also tried an antifungal cream for about a week and it has not changed. I am not sure if it is now "back to normal" or if there is still something there...I attached a picture for your thoughts which would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

I actually saw my doctor who thought it was an eczema/dermatitis like you said. He was not concerned about anything else, even after I asked. I was prescribed topical steroids and as I said it mostly cleared up but some mild redness remained. I think I used the steroids a couple weeks. I can try getting some mild soap and calamine. As I said before, there is no dryness or itchiness to my skin anymore, just some slight redness. I am not sure if the redness is just the normal color for me. I will keep you posted. If you have any other thoughts, please let me know. Thanks again.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These symptoms can be due to dermatitis skin. The treatments of this condition are application of topical corticosteroids (betamethasone, clobatesol, flucinolone) which will reduce the inflammatory process, but are available under prescription. Also use mild soaps like dove, wear cotton clothes and apply some calamine lotion on the rash.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
