Minocin 100mg effects permanent?

Hi, i've been taking minocin 100mg since the summer i believe and just finished my final dose of pills today for good to treat my acne. My acne is finally all gone but my skin is way darker than i really am, i am east Indian and before i was taking these pills i was a lot lighter than before. My doctor said that sun exposure may darken my skin and it seems like it has significantly, by winter time i would be pretty fair to say but i still remain darker than i ever have before. Are these effects permanent from the minocin I've been taking because it is bothering me a lot, i also have been using solugel which both medicines were prescribed by my doctor. If anyone can please give me some feedback this would really help because i have no idea what to do.
