Mole, wart, melanoma, other?

About four or five years ago I had some irritationn on my upper thighs/perineum area where the openings from my briefs would rub.  It was sort of hard to see it, but I eventually just thought it was a mole.  I am noticing some more irritation this summer after walking and sweating.  

I have an appointment with a dermatologist, but it is not for three weeks.  Could it be a mole?  I am also worried it might be genital warts or even melanoma.    Do you think she will need to biopsy it?  I've attached a photo.

Could be localized patch of Psoriasis, Tinea (This picture occurs when treated with ext.steroids) or nummular dermatitis. Dermoscopy is a simple examination done by dermatologists to visualize. You may need this. Does not look anything serious. Do not worry.

It does not look like a mole or a wart. It can be due to eczema patch or a psoriatic patch. However diagnosis can only be confirmed after examination and biopsy skin.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
