Ideally any growth taken out by surgical means should be sent in for a biopsy but in your case I presume it was for entirely cosmetic purposes that you got yours removed.
Under such circumstances, I don't think you have need to be unduly concerned.However if you do have a regrowth in the same area or if you notice any changes then you should immediately get it evaluated.
Right now there is nothing much you can do.If there was no change in any way in the moleBirthmarks - pigmented Gestational trophoblastic disease Hydatidiform mole Pth you had then the possibility of it being serious is remote.

I am honestly not sure why the doctor decided to remove it, I remember him saying that it was the kind of moleBirthmarks - pigmented Gestational trophoblastic disease Hydatidiform mole Pth that might cause problems later and so best to remove it now. But, yes, it was very small and I had had it for at least 10 years and hadn't noticed any changes. Thank you for your reply.
