Mole Scar

My daughter had a facial mole which the dermatologist felt should be removed due the likliness that it was precancerous.
It was removed surgically with an incision and now she has a 1 inch scar line scar with raised tips at each end. What do you recommend to minimize the raised tips of the scar?
