Mole on the center of my foot

I have a mole on the center of the bottom of my foot. I am very worried and do have an appointment with a derm. However, I was hoping you could ease a little of my anxiety...

The mole has been there a little over two years, to my recollection. I never really worried about it... I have several moles on my body. It has a small dark spot in the center and the edges almost look smudged. It changed in appearance when I was pregnant with my son. But has not changed since. What are the chances that this mole could be melonoma? and if it is melanoma what are the chances that it has already spread?

Melanomas are usually >6 mm in size,with irregular borders ,asymmetrical and dark in color.From the picture,it looks like a mole and not a melanoma. Melanoma has an irregular border, is asymmetrical,uneven color and increasing in size. If you notice changes in the mole's/mark’s color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful.Otherwise it should be left as such.
