Mole removal scarring?

Its been a year and a couple of months since ive removed two moles that ive had. They have reudced a bit but the scarring still bothers me. I had it proffesionaly removed. Is there any way to get rid of the scarring forever ? Is it going to be scarred like that for the rest of my life? i just want to get rid of them, because i thought once they were removed you wouldnt even be able to tell that there was anything there, but thats not the case. You can visabley see a scar. Please help.
