Mole

Mole

I have this mole since I was a kid. This mole started to grow and it alleviated a little. It stopped growing when I was 16 or 17 years old. This mole has two separate color. The circle slightly more alleviated one is black and the larger one that is still the same mole is brown. Recently the black colored part of the mole half of it fell off. I'm already 21. Is this a cause for worry? Or am I just being paranoid?

Hello,
It is not unusual for a mole to fall off and the mole may also regrow and recur. However you need to keep an eye on the mole. If you notice changes in the mole's/mark’s color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
