More problems

Dear doctor,
I am still writing because i forgot to mention that, the skin on my scrotum burns and is very sticky when i touch it. It also has boils similar to those on the left and right side of my scrotum. The information given to me before was very informative Im an A scholar  and I can understand most of the words that were told to me in the first paragraph.
but i am using an itching cream called Cortaid. It consist of  1% HYDROCORTISONE .... I wanted to know if it would help .. Because i didnt want to take the risk of using something that would make it worst.
And can i have some tips on how to clean the affected area.
I also scrub my scrotum very hard to remove dead skin cells i wanted  to know. If  that worstens the feel of my scrotum and  if the scrubing is the reason for it being so swollen.I know you will provide me with the best information.
Thank You,

Boils on the scrotum can be due to a bacterial skin infection. This can happen when the hair follicles on the skin get infected.

In your case it could be caused by the trauma of forceful cleaning.Staphylococcus is the common skin bacterium which cuases boils and other skin infections.

You can apply an anti-bacterial ointment containing Neomycin or Mupirocin. There is no need to apply any Corticosteroid medications as this will not help.

To keep the groin area clean, just washing it with soap and warm water will do, there is no need for srubbing the skin on the svrotun as it is very thin and can easily be injured.
