Morphea

I'am Pankaj from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, I have a 7 years old kid, he is suffering from Morphea, since last 4-5 years and still i am not able to find a dermatologist who is expert in Morphea , Can anyone suggest me a Morphea Doctor near by Ahmedabad. Morphea is localized scleroderma leading to thickening of the dermis and subcutaneous tissues. Corticosteroids is the main mode of treatment . Other therapy with topical calcipotriene, tacrolimus 0.1% ointment (under occlusion) and imiquimod 5% cream may also be useful. PUVA and photodynamic therapy is also found to be useful.

You can consult any good dermatologist in your area or in the metro cities and discuss these treatment options with him.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
