Mouth Problems

HI!  I was wondering if you could please tell me what this could be.  I am not sure of the correct names of these parts, please forgive me but I will try my best to describe these to you. The piece of flesh that hangs in the back of my mouth (hangy ball :o} ) I think its called a pallet?  It every couple of weeks or months enlarges (stretches)and it can be layed on my tongue and I can litterly have it showing through my teeth.  It becomes really red, not bleeding though.  And under my tongue does the same thing.  It will becone so large that it has an effect on my speech.  It looks like blood clots but also does not bleed?  But you can definatly see the blood underneath. Is this normal?  The hangy ball enlarging has been happening for quite some time... but under my tongue has only happened since I have been on Paxil (40mg).  Could this have something to do with it?  I am on Birth Control and Robinul for excessive sweating for about 4 years now.  Thank you.  Any comments will be greatly appreciated.  
P.S  I have no known allergies to medication, I have been tested and not really extream allergies to food.  Egg Yolk, but I do not eat Yolk.

The hanging flesh at the back of the throat is called the uvula.  The problems you describe make no sense to me at all.  I think you will need to show them to a doctor or dentist.
