Am 62, female - for sometime have had sm. white bumps on upper lip, around mouth and on chin - white, thread like matter when mashed (no pus) Have VERY dry skin & acne meds really tear up my face.  Would be ever so grateful to know what & how to treat.  THANKS, Jackie

Thank You very much for your reply.  Will give your suggestion a try.  Have gone without cosmetics (use spf 15 makeup) and believe it or not my face gets worse.  Again, THANK YOU!

Hello,
These can be small clogged pores or perioral dermatitis. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed.
