Multiple Bumps near edge of pubic hair

by bman0429, Aug 31, 2003 12:00AM
I have been seeing a girl who told me she had a history of Herpes.
We have been having sex sometime protected sometimes not. She shaves her pubic region and this caused me some discomfort during sex.

After a particularlly long and active unportected sexual encounter. I began experiencing some tenderness in the area on the base of my penis where the public line starts. I also started to feel some extremely painful urination. The tnederness turned into what seemed to be several pimple like ingrown hairs on about eight widely space pubic hairs. They got more and more tender and produced some pipmles which then erupted and left some crusty white puss around them. They resemsble small volcanos. They have been extremely painful. This pain and painful urination has lasted nearly more than 8 days. The pain has started to subside and now the volcanos have scabed over and look like very small symetrical discs about half the size of an asprin.

Is this herpes or foliculitis (folliculitis) and whats up with the flames coming from my penis.

Do yourself a favor and plase show this to a doctor.  It could be folliculitis, but it also could be herpes or bacterial impetigo.  If it's bacterial, antibiotics may be needed.  If it's herpes, your doctor will be able to tell now, when the lesions are still visible, instead of just guessing after they've gone.  This will save you a lot of anxiety.

As for the burning urination, that's an equally important reason to see a doctor now.  Your skin changes wouldn't explain burning urination--you may have an infection in the urine.

Or you may not.  But unless you get checked, you won't know.

Best.

I am also having problems with puss filled boils in my vaginal area.  I have one right now that is about the size of a fifty cent piece and very painfull.  I have had them befor and I sqeeze the puss out because it makes them go away and I can get about a table spoon of puss out of it at one time.  I can barely stand the pain much longer.  They also leave horrible scares.  I am hoping that somebody knows what this is and what I can do! Thanks!!!!!

i have lots of small lumps on my scrotum and have now got 2 rather large ones on my penis. 1 being the size of a rice crispie and it poped 2day with white puss out of it and then began 2 bleed and now looks like a volcano. I have neva had sex so i dnt see how it can be an std but am still very worried. Is it nethin i should really worry about?

Hi... i have noticed that alot of people have the same problem! and i seriousely have no idea what to do about it.. i havent had sex, but im willing to in the future, but the problem is that i do have scares around my vagina and the skin is really dark around that area. i have heared that laser sessions may be useful. but i have heard that there are some creams to peel off the old skin. im going to have to try it soon.
