My 7 yr old daughter

Above my daughters genital area are red bumps that have been itching her! they only have been coming up the past two weeks. She has also been in the heat a lot too! They are itching her severly. They are only coming up like two at a time and they look like mosquito bites. She had one come up tonight its on the outside of her private area by the fold in her leg! By the time we get one treated and to where its not itching anymore and about gone. another one pops up! Does anybody have any ideas on what this might be??? I thought maybe it was heat bumps because shes usually very active but, they arent going away!

These red bumps can be due to allergies, insect bites, body lice, heat rash or hives. Oral antihistamine, such as Benadryl can also be used. You should take a comfortably cool bath and wear smooth-textured cotton clothing. You should choose mild soaps without dyes or perfumes and use a mild, unscented laundry detergent when washing clothes, towels and bedding.
