To: hi
i dont have an answer for you. but what i can say is that you dont know who sat on that toilet and how long its been since it was cleaned. never sit on a public toilet without covering it up. you know there are poeple out there that have lice or crabs down there. those things can last 3 days on a toilet without a host.

do the bumps hurt or burn or itch? recomnmened have him be seen by a doctor.

Hi,

I understand your concern. Does your brother have any cuts or wounds that could have made contact with the toilet seat? Does he have any known allergies?

This may be a contact dermatitis or folliculitis. Contact dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory condition and may cause itchiness and redness in the area secondary to a trigger . A folliculitis may cause small bumps on the skin and when inspected closely they involve hair follicles. As a bacterial infection, this is contagious and may spread though direct contact.

Refrain from unnecessarily touching the area. Frequent washing of hands is important. Avoid sharing any towels and other personal belongings that has contact with the rash.

Oral medications may be needed for the skin condition.

Do keep us posted regarding physician's advice.

he is allergic to any type of nuts. i dont think he had any open wounds or anything. but what i was thinking is because hes 6 years old he has really sensitive skin anything that could have been on that toilet could have done this. we are going to take him to the doctor this morning. i hope what he has isnt anything to bad. ill make sure to tell my mom to  be careful when putting the cream on it. i wouldnt want my mom catching it too. thanks for your help though and i will keep you posted after the appointment.
