Mysterious bites at night...

I haven't seen one bed bug or signs of any. The bites are few.. some nights 3, some none, and some one. The only bug ive seen in my house is a mosquito. This all coincidentally started when i got a pet snake. Maybe it brought something in? Or its frozen mice did? The bites are red, can range from a nickel to a quarter in size and last randomly from 1-4 days... they don't itch all the time either

I wonder if the mice can have mites?  Maybe they weren't frozen long and fleas or mites survived?

These symptoms can be due to flea or insect bites. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide).But they are available under prescription and should be taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
