Nails to short

I had bad habits when I was little and it caused my nails not to stick with the nail bed. How can I make the nails stick to the nail bed so it can grow longer and natural?

From the symptoms it can be onychomadesis. It is the separation and falling off of a nail from the nail bed. Common causes include localized infection or minor injury to the matrix bed. Sometimes systemic diseases can also cause separation of nail from nailbed. Other causes are fungal infections and psoriasis of the nails.
