Neosporin

Is Neosporin ok to use on pimples?  I have heard that it is good for them from some people, and I have heard that it is bad from others.

It's basically neither: neosporin is effective against the bacteria (like staph) which cause boils elsewhere than the face.  For acne pimples, benzoyl peroxide  (OTC) or other topical antibiotics (by Rx) do a better job.  Of course, pimples go away by themselves if you leave them alone . . .

Best.
