Non-healing wound

After a sport accident, I needed several stitches in my knee. The wound scabbed over. After the scab came off, the cut had healed but instead of the normal healing process, a blister like skin had formed with fluid inside (clear, sometimes mixed with blood.)  After the skin came off during a shower, it formed again. This is happening repeatedly and seems to be very persistent. The this had been going on for nearly two months and the wound is apparently forming scar tissue. Is there anything that I can do to start the normal healing process?
