Non itchy bumps on arms legs

   I've recently helped wash my neighbors dog. Ever since then i've been seeing these tiny red non itchy bumps form on my legs and arms and armpit most of them are not itchy except for the armpit one. I thought it was a flea attack but the bites are not itchy and the dog did not show any of the trademark itching and biting signs of fleas. His hair did shed but that could've been related to the fact that we were using dog shampoo that may not have gotten along with him. the bumps are tiny (dull pencil point size) to big (crayon point size) and spread out ,they dont itch and some have a hair follicle showing through them. Does any body know what this is and is it possible to have a non itchy flea bite, they do not appear to have halos and they seem to keep appearing.

It looks like irritated and infected hair follicles rather than flea bites. Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).

Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
