Nummular Eczema??

Hello- I had a small patch on my leg for about 2 months. It was extremely itchy and I dismissed it to be eczema, so I paid special attention to it as far as moisturizing and used Aquaphor. I had eczema on my arm a few years back and the symptoms were the same. Recently, it became crusty on the inside and it had a reddish border. Sometimes I itched it so much that it did bleed a little bit. The patch did get better when I went to FL (I am from the northeast), but when I got home it got worse again. I went to the dermatologist on Saturday and he said eczema was not the first thing that he thought of when he saw it, and he wanted to biopsy it to see if it was possible porokeratosis. I have looked up all sorts of conditions, and I think it is either nummular eczema or ringworn (although I am not particularly athletic). However, I am very anxious as my uncle did have malignant melanoma and I have all the typical warning signs - lots of moles, freckles, fair skin, blue eyes, etc. I do not remember there being a mole in that spot, but I am still very nervous.

Also, I should mention that I am in my early 20s and always wear sunscreen 45+
