hi,
I find myself rubbing my scalp due to this strange sensation, almost like my scalp feels extreamly dry in certain areas or almost as if on piticular hair is being pulled (not pain full just strange). I had struggled with psoriasis from a child untill i was about 9 on about 90% of my scalp, i am lucky to not have lost my hair from that but now i feel like i am losing more hair on a regularRegular insulin basis then i should.
The sensation on my scalp causes me to unconsciously rub my scalp at the root of my hair, by doing this i find white balls at the roots of my hair as well as dry spotsBirthmarks - pigmented Liver spots Measles, koplik spots - close-up Mongolian blue spots exsactly where the sensation is coming from.
I have tried all the things i used for my psoriasis and it only makes it worse suck as Tgel shampoo as well as mane & tail and it seems to make it worse and dry my scalp out completely.
this being said there is no evidedt dandrif, no excess flaking in my hair or "fall out"
Since you have a history of psoriasis, so it can be scalp psoriasis. Scalp psoriasis can be very mild, with slight, fine scaling. Tar products and salicylic acid are generally sufficient for treating very mild scalp psoriasis. Other treatment options include steroid injections or UV rays. My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist.
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
