The small bright white spots are not from pressure points or I would not have them on my wrists and stomach.  Any doctor who says you can't get Idiopathic Guttate Hypomelanosis is a Idiopathic Idiot. You can get these on any part of your body.  What is happening is that most WOMEN who get these are in their 40s and that is when they go to the doctor and it just so happens that most 40 year old WOMEN wear one pice suits so the sun spots are not eveident there.  Think about this logically.  Anywhere the sun has been on your body and anywhee that you have been burned in the past or present can be affected.  The reasons we get more on the chest, forearms, shoulders and lower legs us because that is where most of our freckles are.  Now, redheaded people have freckles all over so they are more prone to have this all over, I am blonde, blue eyed and fair but have burned in the past and these freckles have lost their pigment.  They can be anywhere from bright white(meaning all pigment cells are missing) to faint white (meaning some cells still remain) It's simple, the more freckled you are the more f this you will have.  Some of mine have actually repigmented on their own and this may be because I have used some product unknowingly that actually returned it or because I stopped tanning over the winter the pigment regenerated.  After researching even further I have read that TAR as in coal TAR can help.  I heard about ZTAR and VTAR but am having problems finding this.  There are some dandruff shampoos that have tar in them so that could be tried first.(I'm going to try this) Only use it on the spots and keep it on overnight.  They say it takes months for this to happen.(cells are very complex and need time to regenerate) Ask your doctor about VTAR and ZTAR and see if they will give you a prescript for it.  Post any good news as I will too.  AND to those who keep trying to diagnose this for others don't bother unless you have it. Pressure spots..LMAO
Just because your crack doesn't tan in a bed does mean you get little white dots all over. Sheesh
