Odd Localized Red rash without itch

Odd Localized Red rash without itch

6221600?1286423758
About 10 days ago a rather large section of the right side of my chest started itching quite a bit for no apparent reason, there was no redness, bumps, or any other sign of a rash, however a week later the itching finally stopped, but then the next day I woke up with a small rash(about 1cm diameter) in the same location as the itching, the rash is reddish with "soft" bumps, no puss, no secretions at all, but mild pain when squeezed. now another singular bump appeared about 5cm away from the first rash(which still lies within the area that was itching). I still notice an itch directly on the rash, however it's extremely mild.

I am a 21 year old male virgin(0% chance of STD related rash)..

I have just started using an 1% hydrocortisone cream on the rash.

Thank you for your time ^.^

Hello,
From the symptoms contact dermatitis, allergies and pityriasis rosea are important possibilities. Pityriasis rosea is a common human skin disease which presents as numerous patches of pink or red oval rash. The rash may be accompanied by low-grade headache, fever, nausea and fatigue and itching. Topical and oral steroids are needed. Water, sweat, and soap may cause irritation and should be avoided in the disease. Topical zinc oxide and calamine lotion are useful for pruritus.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thank you for you're reply,

I continued using the hydro-cortisone cream and a few days later my lymph-nodes became swollen and the rash started healing.
All that's left at the moment is just some minor skin damage which should be fully healed within a couple of more weeks.

P.S. - I apologize for not updating this post, >.> i kind of forgot about it to be honest.
