Odd Lumpy Thing on Head

Odd Lumpy Thing on Head

I've had this odd sort of lump on my head for years and I decided it was time to find out what it was. I won't have time to go to the doctors for a couple months for this, so I thought I'd look online to see if anyone had any idea what it  was. It is roughly an inch by a half inch, feels kind of waxy/greasy sort of, and has little hair growing from this area. I've uploaded a picture of it, although I don't know if pictures are allowed here, hopefully they are! http://tinypic.com/r/2uokjzs/6

If anyone has any idea what this could be, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be actinic keratosis or cyst. Actinic keratosis is a small, rough spot occurring on skin that has been chronically exposed to the sun. They are usually reddish in color, with a rough texture and often have a white or yellowish scale on top.

I would suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get these possibilities evaluated. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
