Odd Rash/Pin sized holes on hand (Picture Links Included)

HI!  I noticed this a couple of weeks ago, and I can't, for the life of me, figure it out.  I made an appointment with the dermatologist, but they're so busy I'm not going to get in for 2 weeks.  The skin is slightly lighter around the areas in which I've noticed the pattern.  There is no itching or pain, but on the side of my hand I have noticed some dryness at times.  I'm going to call is a "honeycomb" pattern, as that what it most resembles.  Is is only present in the creases of my palms and isn't anywhere else outside of that on my body, not even my fingers. The patches on the sides of my hand are much small and not developed enough to even see the honeycomb pattern, but you can see one or two small divits of the hole impression.  Below are links to pictures if you feel that would help.  Two of the pictures are of my palms and the third is the outer side of my hand. I've put arrows in the pictures to indicate the areas, except for one picture, when it appears very clearly.  If you have any input that would be quite welcome at this point.  Thanks!

eagle, you may have a mysterious thing called a pilonidal cyst.  Here's an article explaining it:

I have a small bump in the crack of my butt, right where the crack and back meet, it gets bigger and painfull sometimes and then it pops and a puss and blood like substance comes out. It drains fluids every day but does not always hurt. I have had this for about one year now but have no health insurance so i havent seen a doctor about it. Please help.

Nice pictures.

The pits in the palm lines are normal anatomical variants.  You may not have looked so hard before.

The bumps alongside the finger are probably dyshidrotic eczema, a common and unimportant rash of little or no significance.

I wouldn't worry too much.  I'm confident the dermatologist you see will tell you something similar, and certainly nothing bad.

Take care.
