Oval shape on penis

by csn, Oct 20, 2004 12:00AM
Hi I'm a 24 year old male, I have just had Pityrasis Rosea on my body and some patches still are visible after a couple of months. A few weeks ago I found a red/brownish oval shape on the head of my penis (circumsized), it looks allot like the Pityrasis Rosea, only that it is slighty bumped.. I have three others like these on the base of my penis, but they are not bumped like the one on the head of my penis..(none of them itch) any ideas? :(

It wouldn't be part of pityriasis rosea, but it could be some pigmentation left over from irritation of some kind.  My advice is to leave it alone and show it to a doctor so you'll know for sure what it is.  I doubt that you have anything to worry about, and it may well be that you don't even have anything to do about it.

take care.
